Working with all floor supervisors and team leaders, making every effort to maintain, production schedules, and limiting waste, scrap, re-works or turn backs. Working with Quality Control personnel to maintain the highest quality product. Set up and manage CNC machines, including programming, setting, and operating equipment. Ensure accurate cutting tools are selected based on workpiece material type and size. Monitor machine performance during production runs to identify areas for improvement. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to resolve issues related to machinery operation. Excellent organizational skills In-depth knowledge of metal machinery. Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
Role & responsibilities Primary Responsibilities 1. Knowledge of Pro- Engineer/Creo (any version). Experience 3-5 years on plastic injection mould design with Creo/ solidworks/ UG Must be able to design 3plate mould, lifter mould, insert moulding 2. Candidate should know about Hot runner, Cold runner mould, 2-plate and 3- mould design. 3. Preparations of design feasibility and manufacturing (DFM). 4. Making 2D and 3D Model. 5. Candidate should have knowledge in GD & T. 6. Responsible for tooling document control (DCN and ECN). 7. Knowledge in Tool Manufacturing and Moulding defects. Additional Requirement Proficiency in Excel and Word and other MS functions are required. Auto CAD, knowledge. Use of gauges and other measuring instruments. Qualifications, Skills & Abilities Diploma in Tool and die designing and making / Post Diploma in tool design (GT& TC, NTTF, CIPET, and CITD). 2. Candidate should have 2- 4 years of experience in mould design. 3. Shop floor experience required (Min 2 years Tool making / maintenance).
