CNC Operator

Job Description (JD):

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines for cutting, shaping, and processing gemstones as per drawings and production requirements
• Load and unload gemstones and ensure correct PCS/CTS entry before and after machining
• Set up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters as per job instructions
• Monitor machine performance to maintain quality, accuracy, and productivity
• Check finished gemstones for size, shape, and finish as per quality standards
• Perform basic machine maintenance and report breakdowns or issues to the supervisor
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the CNC area
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and PPC teams for smooth workflow

Educational Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in CNC Machining, Mechanical, or relevant technical trade
• Candidates with hands-on CNC experience in gemstone or jewellery manufacturing will be preferred
• Freshers with technical training and basic CNC knowledge may also be considered

Skills & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of CNC machine operations and controls
• Understanding of PCS & CTS handling in gemstone manufacturing
• Ability to read job instructions and follow standard operating procedures
• Willingness to work in shifts, if required
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and disciplined

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
