CNC Manager

Role Overview: As a CNC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of CNC machines with 4 and 5-axis capabilities. Your role will involve managing a team of CNC operators, machinists, and technicians to ensure efficient and accurate operation of CNC equipment. You will work towards optimizing production processes, maintaining quality standards, and upholding safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, train, and supervise a team of CNC operators and machinists. - Schedule shifts and allocate resources to meet production demands. - Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and promote continuous improvement. - Oversee the operation, setup, and programming of 5-axis CNC machines. - Troubleshoot machine issues, perform basic maintenance, and develop CNC programs for efficiency. - Monitor production processes, inspect finished parts for quality, and maintain detailed records. - Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure compliance with industry standards. - Continuously assess and improve machining processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement. - Manage inventory, work with procurement, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Conduct regular safety audits, provide training, and address safety concerns promptly. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred. - Proven experience in operating and managing CNC 4 and 5-axis machines, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of CNC programming, machine tools, and machining processes. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to interpret blueprints, manage production schedules, and optimize workflows. - Familiarity with industry standards and quality control practices.
