Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Operator specializing in operating angle punching, drilling, and plate machines within the tower manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet precise specifications. Key Responsibilities Machine Operations Set up and operate CNC angle punching, drilling, and plate machines for manufacturing tower components. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machine settings and adjustments. Program CNC machines as required and perform necessary tooling changes. Quality Assurance Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct routine checks and measurements using appropriate tools such as callipers, micrometres, and gauges. Maintenance and Troubleshooting Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines. Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues to minimize downtime. Compliance and Safety Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while operating machinery. Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards. Collaboration and Reporting Work closely with production supervisors and team members to meet production goals. Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine performance, and maintenance activities. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating CNC angle punching, drilling, and plate machines in a tower manufacturing environment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in CNC operations are preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CNC machine programming and operation. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of materials used in tower manufacturing, such as steel and alloys. Soft Skills: Attention to detail and precision. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
