Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Drill Machine Operator with extensive experience operating Yantra Sonic CNC Drill Machines. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of machine operations, drilling techniques, and the ability to perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Yantra Sonic CNC Drill Machines efficiently for precise drilling operations.
• Interpret and execute drilling specifications from GA, fabrication, and shop drawings.
• Set and monitor feed rates and spindle RPM to ensure accuracy and surface finish.
• Perform routine machine setup, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain drilling tools and consumables, including drill bits and bodies, ensuring they are sharp and properly aligned.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the machining area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Document machine logs, maintenance records, and production outputs.
• Collaborate with the production and quality control teams to ensure project objectives and tolerances are met.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience operating CNC drilling equipment; familiarity with Yantra CNC Drill Machines is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in selecting and adjusting feed rates and RPM for various material thicknesses and types.
• Strong understanding of drill bit maintenance and reconditioning.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and drilling requirements.
• Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in industrial machining environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification or training in CNC machine operation or mechanical maintenance.
• Familiarity with Yantra Design CNC Drilling Machines, which may include features such as high-power spindle motors (7.5–15 kW), Hiwin linear guideways, chip conveyor systems, auto lubrication, coolant facilities, and automatic tool changers (yantradesign.co.in).
