CMS Content Specialist

Role Overview: As a CMS Content Specialist, your main responsibility will be to manage, optimize, and maintain website content using Content Management Systems (CMS). You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the content aligns with brand guidelines and business objectives. Your attention to detail and ability to create engaging online experiences will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and update website content using CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or similar. - Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure content alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives. - Optimize web pages for SEO by implementing proper meta tags, keywords, and other on-page SEO elements. - Troubleshoot and resolve content-related issues within the CMS. - Analyze website performance and user behavior using analytics tools to provide insights and recommendations for content improvement. - Create and maintain content calendars to ensure timely publishing of materials. - Ensure all published content meets quality standards, including proofreading and adherence to accessibility and usability best practices. - Monitor and ensure compliance with copyright and privacy regulations in all published content. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. - 1-2 years of experience in a CMS-focused role. - Proficiency with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla. - Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web design principles. - Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Yoast. - Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. - Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva is a plus.
