CMS Content Specialist

As a CMS Content Specialist at our company in Thrissur, India, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining website content using Content Management Systems (CMS). Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the content aligns with brand guidelines and business objectives, while also working on SEO optimization and troubleshooting any content-related issues within the CMS. Your key responsibilities will include updating website content through platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla, optimizing web pages for SEO by implementing meta tags, keywords, and other on-page SEO elements, and analyzing website performance using analytics tools to provide insights for content improvement. Additionally, you will be tasked with creating and maintaining content calendars, ensuring quality standards are met, and monitoring compliance with copyright and privacy regulations. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of experience in a CMS-focused role. Proficiency in CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla is essential, as well as a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web design principles. Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Yoast, excellent writing and editing skills, and strong organizational abilities are also required. Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva will be considered a plus.
