Job Description

CMake Engineer

Years of Experience:

Experience configuring and maintaining CMake for complex, multi-platform projects.

Skills:

CMake, Git, Docker, Make, Ninja, MSBuild
Build System Configuration and Cross-Platform Development

Day-to-Day Work:

Design and maintain CMake-based build systems for large projects.
Configure toolchains, dependencies, and compiler options for multiple platforms.
Collaborate with teams to manage external libraries and third-party integrations.
Automate build and test workflows using CI/CD pipelines.
Debug build issues related to linking or dependencies.
Document build processes and continuously improve performance via caching and parallelization.

Requirements:

3+ years of CMake build system experience.
Strong understanding of compilation, linking, and dependency management.
Cross-platform experience (Linux, Windows, macOS).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate complex build concepts clearly.
