Role Overview: Being part of Meesho's Fulfilment and Experience team, as an Assistant Manager - Packaging Center, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the packaging center. Your responsibilities will include ensuring efficient processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading the team to achieve organisational goals. This role demands strong leadership, exceptional organisational skills, and a deep understanding of packaging processes and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Operational Management: Oversee all daily operations of the packaging center, such as receiving, packaging, and shipping activities. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards. Implement and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) for packaging processes. Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet production needs. - Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor packaging center staff, including supervisors, line workers, and support personnel. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. - Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement and implement changes to boost efficiency and reduce costs. Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in packaging technology. - Communication and Coordination with 3P Partner: Coordinate with various departments like the 3P team, central team, logistics, and WMS team for seamless operations. Communicate effectively with upper management about operational status, challenges, and progress. Prepare and present regular reports on packaging center performance. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a fulfillment center. - Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. - Strong understanding of packaging processes, materials, and equipment. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in using inventory management and ERP systems. *Note: The job involves working primarily in a warehouse for extended hours and night shifts. It may require standing or walking for prolonged periods.*,
