Cluster Business Head(EQUITAS Channel)

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development:Drive life insurance sales through the assigned bank branches to achieve business targets across various product categories (e.g., protection, savings, ULIP, term life). Identify new business opportunities and potential customers within the bank network.
Relationship Management:Build and nurture strong, progressive partnerships with bank branch managers, cluster heads, and bank staff to ensure alignment of goals and seamless execution of sales and service aspects. Conduct regular joint business reviews with bank leadership.
Team Management and Mentoring:Lead, mentor, motivate, and manage a team of life insurance professionals (e.g., Front Line Sales Managers, Relationship Managers). Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and ensure high productivity and retention of the team.
Training and Development:Anticipate training needs for both the insurance team members and the bank's staff. Organize product knowledge sessions and skill development programs to upskill and spread awareness of life insurance products.
Process and Compliance:Ensure operational efficiency and control, workflow compliance with all regulatory requirements, and adherence to company policies. This includes maintaining accurate sales MIS and reports.
Market Analysis:Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and provide inputs for new products and sales pitches.
