Cloud Solutions Architect

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and managing cloud infrastructure that supports renewable energy operations, smart grid systems, and energy analytics platforms. Your role will involve ensuring the secure storage, processing, and real-time access of energy data from sources such as solar plants, EV charging stations, and IoT sensors. Your technical expertise in cloud architecture and deep understanding of renewable energy data management will be essential for driving the success of modern digital energy companies. Key Responsibilities: - Design and deploy scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions for energy data and applications. - Build infrastructure for SCADA data storage, energy analytics, and predictive maintenance tools. - Collaborate with software developers and engineers to integrate IoT and smart grid systems into cloud environments. - Manage servers, APIs, and microservices on platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. - Optimize cost, performance, and storage efficiency of cloud resources. - Implement cloud security measures, disaster recovery, and compliance protocols. - Migrate on-premise applications to cloud platforms with minimal downtime. - Support data pipelines for AI, ML, and IoT analytics used in energy monitoring systems. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Electrical Engineering. - Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). - Strong knowledge of networking, databases, and API integration. - Experience with serverless computing and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation). - Understanding of data protection, security, and scalability best practices. Preferred Experience: - 3-7 years of experience in cloud architecture or DevOps. - Prior exposure to renewable energy systems, IoT data handling, or smart grid platforms is highly desirable.
