Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement & Project Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and understanding their business needs and technical requirements. Lead and manage client-facing execution throughout the project lifecycle, including: Requirement Gathering: Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements for cloud solutions. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Patch Management: Oversee and ensure timely and effective patch management strategies for cloud infrastructure and applications. Client-Side Deployment: Coordinate and manage the deployment of cloud solutions, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption. Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to clients on project status, progress, and any potential issues. Cloud Infrastructure & Operations:Cloud Infrastructure Design (Good to Have): Contribute to or oversee the design of robust, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS. Monitor cloud service performance, identify areas for optimization, and implement improvements. Ensure the operational health, reliability, and security of cloud services. Security & Compliance:Demonstrate a strong understanding and practical application of industry security compliances, specifically GDPR and/or HIPAA. Implement and enforce security best practices within cloud environments. Participate in security audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Financial Management:Budgeting & Cost Optimization: Proactively manage cloud service budgets, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising service quality or security. Provide financial forecasts and reports related to cloud service consumption. Team Collaboration & Leadership:Collaborate effectively with internal technical teams (e.g., architects, engineers, developers) to ensure successful project delivery. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Required Qualifications: Certifications (One of the following is mandatory):AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional Experience : Proven experience (X+ years, e.g., 5+ years) in a client-facing cloud service management or similar role. Demonstrated experience in managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, project planning, and deployment. Hands-on experience with patch management in a cloud environment. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud computing concepts. Proficiency in monitoring and managing cloud infrastructure. Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with GDPR and/or HIPAA compliance requirements. Business Acumen: Solid understanding of budgeting principles and experience with cost management within cloud environments. Soft Skills:Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong negotiation and client management skills. Good to Have: Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP). ITIL certification or familiarity with IT service management frameworks. Experience in pre-sales activities or contributing to proposals.
