Job Description

The Cloud Sales Expert will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for our cloud-based products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, strong consultative selling skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the cloud computing or SaaS industry, and a passion for helping clients achieve their business goals through cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and leveraging industry events and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and propose tailored cloud solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations on cloud strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure successful adoption and satisfaction with cloud solutions.
  • Solution Selling:
  • Present and demonstrate the value of cloud products/services (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design customized solutions that address client pain points.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Market and Industry Knowledge:
  • Stay updated on cloud technology trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs.
  • Reporting and Forecasting:
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance and pipeline status to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in cloud computing, SaaS, or IT services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their business applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals).
  • Experience selling to specific industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing).
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or DevOps.
