Cloud Platform Engineer

Project Role Description :

Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance.

Must have skills :

Oracle Database Administration (DBA)

Good to have skills :

Exadata Administration, Oracle Exadata Database Machine

15 years full time educationSummary: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, testing, and deployment of cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and non-cloud infrastructures. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the architecture is viable, secure, and performs optimally, while also creating proofs of concept to validate your designs. You will be responsible for deploying infrastructure and platform environments, ensuring that all components work together effectively to meet organizational goals. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in cloud technologies. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of cloud strategies that align with business objectives. - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Exadata Administration. - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment models. - Experience with automation tools for cloud deployment and management. - Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
