Job Description

As a skilled ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist/Developer, your role will involve designing, configuring, and enhancing ITAM solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Your primary focus will be on Hardware Asset Management (HAM) with exposure to Software Asset Management (SAM). Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow ITAM modules, especially HAM, and preferably SAM. - Developing and customizing applications using JavaScript and ServiceNow server/client-side scripting. - Ensuring asset lifecycle processes align with ITIL best practices, from procurement to retirement. - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions. - Integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and supporting end-to-end data flows. - Maintaining and enhancing the CMDB to ensure data accuracy and relationships across asset classes. - Troubleshooting issues, performing root-cause analysis, and supporting platform upgrades. - Preparing documentation, technical specifications, and process workflows. Your skills and qualifications should include: - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM modules, particularly HAM (mandatory) and SAM (preferred). - Proficiency in JavaScript and a strong understanding of ServiceNow scripting capabilities. - Good understanding of ITIL practices and asset lifecycle management frameworks. - Experience with integrations, including REST and SOAP APIs. - Working knowledge of CMDB structure, data models, and dependencies. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities. With 8-11 years of experience, your primary skill should be Cloud Service Incident Management, with additional skills in Servicenow, Cloud Service Manager, and Infrastructure Support.,
