Description
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of managing Cloud Services, including software deployment, system setup, administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management, service desk, security management, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery, and routine service updates. You will also work on defining and designing solution offerings, developing end-to-end technical solutions, and maintaining strategies related to Cloud Infrastructure and Services. Your role will involve driving the adoption of Cloud Infrastructure, articulating risks and opportunities, evaluating and implementing new software products and tools, and liaising with vendors for problem resolution and enhancements. Additionally, you will interface with C-Level customers for critical security issues as required. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with industry standards such as ETSI, 3GPP, Open stack, CNCF, ONF, MANO, OCP, and others. You must have an understanding of hyperscale cloud providers" features and capabilities, especially in relation to the Telecom industry. Hands-on experience with cloud and virtualization technologies like OpenStack, OpenShift, RHOSP, VMware, GCP, AWS, etc., as well as Kubernetes deployments, Docker, Helm charts, and scripting/automation (Bash, Python, Ansible) is essential. Moreover, you should possess a solid understanding of Telecom Networks (LTE, 5G, Wireline), OSS Platforms/Tools, Cloud, DevOps, and interworking of Cloud with IP networking and Workload like Packet Core. Experience in managing large customer projects, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in multi-functional teams are crucial. Additionally, experience in handling Senior leadership of customers is required.
