Project Role : Cloud Operations Engineer Project Role Description : Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution. Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests. Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation. Must have skills : Microsoft Azure IaaS Good to have skills : NA Minimum 12 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration. You will be responsible for scripting, monitoring automation execution, and managing incidents with a focus on service restoration. Additionally, you will act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents/requests. Your role will also involve managing the rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation. Roles & Responsibilities:1.Azure DevOps/Jenkins – pipelines, security, job execution modes etc... hands on with in-depth knowledge on CI/CD2.Ansible/Terraform/Chef/Puppet – conceptual knowledge on either one of them and able to explain an use case 3.Rich customer facing and handling experience4.Must have designed a solution architecture with Devops implemented.5.Develop the Point of the View and the best practices for DevOps strategies and solutions, DevOps Transformation, DevOps Assessment / Consultation, Architecture Roadmap6.Lead, implement and project manage transformation programs to drive client outcomes7.Will help develop and implement client solutions using Continuous Delivery and Integration practices including Services Virtualization, Release Automation, and Automated Deployment, and Continuous Integration8.Leads resources within the DevOps Team and acts as a coach to other team members9.Experience with Agile methodologies. 10.Strong architectural background with experiences in Cloud based IT data centers and with Cloud Foundry Platform as a Service Solutions11.Scripting – Python advanced knowledge, powershell, shell scripting.12.Have understanding of code quality tools like Klockwork, SonarQube, KICS, IaC code security13.Windows/Linux administration skills Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure administration Experience in scripting and automation execution Knowledge of monitoring tools and techniques Familiarity with patch management and release schedules Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Microsoft Azure IaaS This position is based at our Gurugram office A 15 years full time education is required Qualifications 15 years full time education
