Job Description

About the role:

The N etwork Engineering M anager will lead our cloud network engineering team and be responsible for managing cloud-based network infrastructure across the enterprise to ensure reliability , security and efficiency . T he role involves working closely with different teams within the organization to understand their needs and implement best practices and strategies that align with our business goals.

You are goal-oriented, independent, motivated, self-driven, result-oriented, and act as an agent of change. You will act as an influencer, be pragmatic, able to function as a team mentor & player, handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment, and have the highest level of integrity & proven track record of success & leadership .

What youll do:

Oversee the design and management of cloud-based network infrastructure ensuring scalability, reliability and performance.

Cultivate a diverse, high-performing team that develops, recognizes and retains the best people and challenges them to advance their technical and engineering skills to meet the demands of rapidly evolving technologies

Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, delegating responsibilit ies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Participate in budget planning and management for network resources, evaluating new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency

Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance organizational practices

Collaborate with Cyber Security to implement necessary saf eguards to protect the network from unauthorized access, threats and vulnerabilities.

Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize the network.

Develop stakeholder relationships, working with teams across the business to ensure upstream and downstream processes exist to support meeting SLAs and OLA s

Report regularly on network performance to technical and non-technical stakeholders as needed.

Continuous and e ffective performance management of the team

Driv e deployment to the network using Infrastructure as Code ( IaC ) and regularly review code wit h team to optimize for efficiency.

What we'll want you to have:

10 + years of experience as a n engineer with a strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols and services .

5+ year s of experience in a managerial or leadership role managing cloud network infrastructure.

In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure

Experience with infrastructure as code ( IaC ) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation

Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities; Available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events
