Cloud Java Engineer

You should have 6 to 8 years of professional experience in software support at an enterprise level. As an experienced engineer, you must possess strong technical expertise, be ownership-driven, and have a focus on strong code quality. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related IT field is essential for this role. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and architecting new and current systems. You will be participating in enterprise architecture reviews to provide recommendations aligning POS systems for optimized IT investments. As a technical lead, you will work on medium to large complex projects and feature enhancements. Collaboration with various teams such as Product Management, Project Management, Business, and User Experience teams to identify and prioritize initiatives will be a key aspect of your role. Your expertise in troubleshooting issues, performance tuning, and identifying opportunities for seamless integrations across systems will be crucial. You will be involved in evaluating new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability. Monitoring server and application performance using tools like NewRelic, CloudWatch, and Sumologic will also be part of your responsibilities.
