As a Software Quality Engineer, you will collaborate with product owners, engineers, and team members to enhance testing efficiency, broaden coverage, and boost product reliability. Your responsibilities will include designing, writing, and maintaining automated test scripts, as well as performing manual testing. You will communicate test status effectively, including risks, issues, defects, and potential impacts, while documenting test results for debugging and software modification. Additionally, you will assist in administering the tools used by the testing team and work with other team members to ensure validated deliverables meet specifications and requirements. You will be required to understand customer requirements for both functional and non-functional testing, produce efficient scripts based on test designs, review available data, create data mapping documents, and identify and create test cases. Your tasks will involve executing test cases, documenting defects, bugs, and errors, resolving issues, tracking project-related issues, and recommending effective business solutions for low complexity requirements. You will apply organizational standards and practices under the guidance of experienced team members, while tracking knowledge transition activities and extracting relevant information from the knowledge management repository. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field, along with at least 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance. You should have hands-on experience in developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts, as well as familiarity with mobile automation tools and various platforms like IOS, Android, and mac OS. Knowledge of industry-standard tools for logging bugs and managing test cases, coding experience in languages like Ruby, Java, or C#, and proficiency in API test automation are essential. You should also have an understanding of Agile development, object-oriented programming, web services testing for REST and SOAP, and automated test drivers like Junit, TestNG, and Nunit. Familiarity with testing message queue services, Selenium/Webdriver, front-end web application tools, development patterns like TDD and BDD, build automation tools, build management tools, and performance automation tools is required. Additionally, experience with mobile testing on iOS and Android, as well as knowledge of mobile test automation tools, will be beneficial for this role.,
