Job Description

Comfortable working with
cloud platforms
(AWS, GCP, Azure) and managing infrastructure with tools like Terraform and AWS Systems Manager.
Familiarity with
FinOps
, including cost optimization, tagging, and chargeback reporting.
Ability to set and follow
engineering guidelines
for repository management and branching strategies.
Strong skills in collecting and reporting
metrics
to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Experience automating
cloud resource management
and scaling using modern tools

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement cloud-based solutions on AWS, including computing, networking, storage, and security.

- Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation

- Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.

- Perform infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.

- Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

- Monitoring and Optimization:

- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and cost.

- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar tools in Azure.

- Optimize cloud resources and ensure cost-efficiency.

- Security and Compliance:

- Implement and manage security controls, identity, and access management policies.

- Ensure cloud solutions comply with security policies and industry standards.

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Qualifications:

- Education and Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 4 years on AWS/Azure.
