Cloud Engineer

Role Overview: You are seeking skilled and passionate Software Developers with a strong background in Node.js development and a working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building serverless applications and working within a microservices architecture, with familiarity in NestJS being a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Node.js - Building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure - Developing and maintaining serverless functions (e.g., AWS Lambda / Azure Functions) - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and integrate microservices - Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code - Participating in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes - Troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems for performance and scalability Qualifications Required: - Experience in applications in a Production environment that can be showcased - Minimum of 3+ years of experience in cloud and software development using Node.js - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and modern backend practices - Experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) or Azure (Functions, API Management, Cosmos DB, etc.) - Knowledge of serverless application architecture - Hands-on experience working with microservices - Familiarity with NestJS or a willingness to learn - Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker a plus) - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Additional Company Details: The company values experience with TypeScript, an understanding of event-driven architectures (e.g., using SNS, SQS, or Azure Service Bus), exposure to DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
