Cloud Engineer

You are seeking multiple skilled and passionate Software Developers with a strong background in Node.js development and a working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building serverless applications and working within a microservices architecture, with familiarity in NestJS being a strong plus. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services using Node.js, building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure, developing and maintaining serverless functions (e.g., AWS Lambda / Azure Functions), collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and integrate microservices, writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participating in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes, and troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems for performance and scalability. To qualify for this position, you must have experience in applications in a Production environment that can be showcased, a minimum of 3+ years of experience in cloud and software development using Node.js, a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and modern backend practices, experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) or Azure (Functions, API Management, Cosmos DB, etc.), knowledge of serverless application architecture, hands-on experience working with microservices, familiarity with NestJS or a willingness to learn, proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker a plus), strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. It would be nice to have experience with TypeScript, an understanding of event-driven architectures (e.g., using SNS, SQS, or Azure Service Bus), exposure to DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
