Experience:

GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure on GCP
• Build and manage

  CI/CD pipelines

  using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using

  Terraform

  or

  Deployment Manager

• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues using tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams for smooth deployments
• Manage containerized applications using

  Docker

  and orchestration platforms like

  Kubernetes (GKE preferred)

• Ensure system security through access controls, backups, and firewalls

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with

  GCP services

  (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, etc.)
• Hands-on with

  CI/CD tools

  – Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build
• Proficiency in

  Terraform

  or other IaC tools
• Solid scripting skills in

  Python, Bash, or Shell

• Experience with

  Docker

  and

  Kubernetes (GKE)

• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools – Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana
• Good understanding of networking, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls in cloud environments
• Exposure to security best practices and cloud cost optimization

Good to Have:

• GCP certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer / Professional DevOps Engineer)
• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
• Background in supporting microservices architectures
