Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based systems. The role requires strong AWS expertise, solid programming ability, and a deep understanding of serverless architectures, cloud security, and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS, optionally GCP/Azure).

Develop automation, integrations, and backend services using Node.js or Python.

Implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and event-driven patterns.

Optimize cloud cost, ensuring efficient resource usage and budget control.

Work with relational and NoSQL databases (RDS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

Configure and manage network components (VPC, subnets, security groups, Load Balancers, DNS, WAF).

Apply security best practices (IAM policies, KMS encryption, HTTPS, WSS, MQTTs, rate limiting, whitelisting, inbound/outbound rules, hashing/encryption standards like AES, SHA).

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).

Implement monitoring and alerting using CloudWatch, Grafana, Metabase, etc.

Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to performance, reliability, and scalability improvements.

Required Skills

Mandatory: AWS expertise + Serverless Architecture

Node.js or Python development

Cloud cost estimation and optimization

Relational + NoSQL database experience

Networking fundamentals (VPC, LB, DNS, WAF)

Security fundamentals (IAM, KMS, encryption, protocols, rules, rate limiting)

CI/CD pipelines

Monitoring/alerting tools
