Cloud DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer 2 at Snowflake, you will be part of our dynamic CloudOps team responsible for maintaining and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. You will work on designing and implementing scalable solutions, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the security and reliability of our cloud environments. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive infrastructure improvements.

IN THIS ROLE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

• Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code

• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins

• Manage identity and access controls through Okta integration and cloud platform security measures

• Develop automation solutions using Python and shell scripting to improve operational efficiency

• Monitor system performance and respond to incidents with effective troubleshooting and resolution

• Collaborate with development and security teams to implement best practices and maintain compliance

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in an enterprise environment

• Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud infrastructure management

• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform

• Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
