Cloud DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at our company, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of open-source technologies and cloud services, ensuring an always-up, always-available service. Your responsibilities will include: - Implementing integrations requested by customers - Deploying updates and fixes - Providing Level 2 technical support - Building tools to reduce errors and improve customer experience - Performing root cause analysis for production errors - Investigating and resolving technical issues - Developing scripts to automate visualization - Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance - Identifying improvements, developing infrastructure services, and automating manual work - Tracking and detecting new vulnerabilities and their remediation - Implementing container network security - Automating security testing Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors Degree or MS in Engineering or equivalent - Experience in managing Linux based infrastructure - Hands-on experience with at least one scripting language - Hands-on experience with databases including PSQL, MySQL, Mongo & Elasticsearch - Knowledge of Java/JVM based languages - AWS Certification, VMware, Azure, and GCP cloud hands-on experience knowledge It is preferred that you have a strong background in Linux/Unix administration, experience with automation/configuration management tools, and a working understanding of code and script. Additionally, having experience with CI/CD tools, cloud formation, containerization tools like Docker & Kubernetes, and a good understanding of IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS will be beneficial for this role.
