Cloud DevOps Engineer -AWS

Job Overview:

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and services that support our financial trading platforms. Your expertise in AWS and related technologies will be crucial in ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our systems. You will work closely with development teams to optimize performance and integrate advanced observability tools to maintain operational excellence.

Experience:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage AWS services including EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Kafka to support trading applications.
• Networking and Security: Configure and manage AWS networking components (VPC, subnets, security groups) and implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure.
• Observability and Monitoring: Utilize observability tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) to monitor application performance and ensure system reliability.
• DevSecOps Practices: Integrate security into the DevOps pipeline, implementing automated security scans and compliance checks.
• Application Debugging: Troubleshoot and debug application issues, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime.
• Database Management: Manage and optimize relational databases, ensuring data integrity and performance for financial applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to support CI/CD processes, infrastructure as code, and application deployment.

Technical Skills:

• Deep knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, and Kafka.
• Strong experience with AWS networking, security, and infrastructure management.
• Proficiency in observability tools such as ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana,OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into the development lifecycle.
• Proficient in application debugging and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience with Java and understanding of database management (SQL and NoSQL).
