Clinical Lead in Ophthalmology

As a Clinical Lead for Ophthalmology at the National Treatment Centre in NHS Highland, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the Service Manager and Clinical Director to ensure operational delivery of departmental services. Your key responsibilities will include: - Convening and chairing departmental meetings - Managing rotas and coordinating annual leave and study leave - Conducting staff induction for clinical colleagues - Developing protocols and guidelines - Assisting in responding to complaints - Leading the department in terms of quality and patient safety You will serve as the focal point of communication internally and externally, representing the department's views within the National Treatment Centre-Highland, the National NTC Network, and NHS Highland. Additionally, you will assist the Service Manager in coordinating job-planning for medical staff within the department.
