About the Role: Are you a medical professional (MBBS/BAMS/BDS/MPH) with a passion for technology and data? We are looking for a Clinical Data Specialist to bridge the gap between medicine and engineering.

In this role, you will not treat patients; instead, you will use your medical knowledge to ensure the clinical accuracy of our digital platforms. This is a unique opportunity to pivot into the technology sector, applying your rigorous training to solve large-scale healthcare data challenges.

Structure of the Role

• Phase 1 (Month 0-6): You will join as a Probationary Clinical Specialist. During this period, you will undergo intensive on-the-job training on Health Informatics, Data Ontologies (ICD-10/SNOMED), and our proprietary clinical validation tools.
• Phase 2 (Month 7+): Upon successful performance review and mastery of the technical workflows, you will be confirmed as a Full-Time Clinical Data Specialist with a revised salary package and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Process Design: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the engineering team. You will translate complex medical decision-making processes into standardized workflows that can be implemented digitally.
• Data Integrity & Curation: Review and clean complex healthcare datasets (EMR, screening data) to ensure high-quality data standards for our analytical reporting.
• Standardization Strategy: Guide the technical team on mapping unstructured clinical notes to global standard ontologies (ICD-10, SNOMED, LOINC) to ensure interoperability.
• Clinical Quality Assurance (CQA): Perform medical validation of platform outputs to ensure reports are clinically safe, accurate, and reflect real-world medical nuances.
• Protocol Design: Assist in designing data collection frameworks and logic for large-scale public health screenings.

Who We Are Looking For

• Education: Medical Degree is mandatory (MBBS, BAMS, or BHMS). A Masters in Public Health (MPH) is a strong plus.
• Experience: 3+ years in clinical practice, public health programs, or clinical research.
• Tech-Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Excel (handling large datasets) is required. You must be comfortable working with software tools daily.
• Analytical Mindset: You must enjoy structure, logic, and patterns. If you love solving diagnostic puzzles, you will fit right in.
• Communication: Excellent English proficiency to articulate medical concepts to non-medical engineering teams.

Nice to Have (Bonus Skills)

• Experience with Health Informatics or Medical Coding (ICD, CPT).
• Knowledge of SQL or Python (or a strong willingness to learn).
• Previous experience in medical writing or creating clinical protocols.
