Job Description

Clinical Data Modeling Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop data information models
aligned with
USDM
for
clinical trials
and
real-world data (RWD)
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document
LinkML schemas
and
metadata standards
.
Perform
data curation
and
ontology mapping
to industry-standard terminologies (e.g.,
SNOMED CT, LOINC, MedDRA
).
Ensure
semantic alignment
and
interoperability
across diverse data sources using governance principles and best practices.
Contribute to the evolution of enterprise
data architecture
by integrating
USDM
with standards such as
CDISC (SDTM, ADaM)
,
HL7 FHIR
, and
OMOP CDM
.
Support the development of tools, frameworks, and pipelines for
metadata-driven data transformation
and
validation
.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in
data information model development
with strong command of
USDM
.
Hands-on expertise with
LinkML
, schema documentation, and metadata modeling.
Strong understanding of
data governance frameworks
, policies, and best practices.
Experience in
ontology mapping
,
terminology alignment
, and
semantic harmonization
.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with
CDISC (SDTM, ADaM)
,
HL7 FHIR
,
OMOP CDM
, and other
healthcare data standards
.
Domain expertise in
clinical trials
,
real-world data (RWD)
, or
translational research
.
Experience working in
regulated environments
(pharmaceuticals, CROs, or health technology sectors).
Excellent
communication
,
documentation
, and stakeholder engagement skills.
