Job Description: As a Clinical Assistant in Obstetrics & Gynecology at our esteemed institution, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Mentor, Director, and Consultants in delivering top-notch clinical care in alignment with the Sir HN RFH standards of medical and service excellence. Under their supervision, you will be involved in a wide range of clinical activities aimed at ensuring the well-being of our patients. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the Mentor, Director, and Consultants to conduct outpatient department (OPD) activities and other clinical procedures as required. You will also be responsible for managing casualty cases, collating and analyzing medical records, prescribing medication, and administering specialized medical care under consultation. It will be essential for you to communicate effectively with patients and their families, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate various aspects of patient care such as OT bookings, surgical procedures, and post-operative care. In addition, you will be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the Hospital Information System, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care, and ensure compliance with quality standards and infection control protocols. Your role will also involve participating in health programs, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous medical education activities to enhance your skills and contribute to the growth of the department. To excel in this role, you must hold an MBBS and MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology, along with 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Additional certifications and fellowships in Obs-Gyn will be desirable. Moreover, your technical competencies should include knowledge of departmental policies, infection prevention, HIS usage, patient safety, and communication skills.
