Job Description

As a member of the Wealth Management Operations team at Goldman Sachs, you will be instrumental in assisting clients and customers worldwide in achieving their financial objectives. The wealth management businesses, led by advisors, provide a diverse array of financial services, including financial planning, investment management, banking, and comprehensive advice to a range of clients such as ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, and corporations. Moreover, the consumer business delivers digital solutions for effective financial management. The growth within Wealth Management is centered on a strong commitment to people, clients, cutting-edge technology, data, and design. Your role in the Operations division will involve collaborating with various areas of the firm to offer banking, securities, and asset management services globally. Operations encompasses risk management, controls, and the development of processes to facilitate the business flow for new products and trades. In the PWM Client Onboarding team, your responsibilities as a seasoned professional will encompass partnering with departments like Sales, Compliance, Legal, and Business Management to ensure a seamless client onboarding process. Navigating regulatory requirements efficiently while providing operational support will be crucial. Your strategic acumen will be pivotal in shaping a client onboarding vision aligned with the firm's goals. Managing intricate account structures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and establishing performance indicators for monitoring onboarding progress will be integral facets of your role. Cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders, streamlining processes, and swiftly resolving issues will also fall within your purview. To thrive in this position, you should hold a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services focusing on client onboarding, KYC/AML compliance, and risk management. Strong leadership capabilities, proactive problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing multiple tasks effectively are essential. Preferred qualifications include relevant certifications, a proactive and team-oriented demeanor, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to perform well under pressure.
