Within a short span, AYA Design Studios has successfully completed a diverse range of projects, including branding, logo design, product design, and automotive design.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Clay Modeler/Designer. The Clay Modeler/Designer will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed clay models for various design projects, collaborating closely with design teams, interpreting design sketches and CAD data, and refining clay models to meet design specifications. The role also involves developing design sketches (both 2D and 3D), participating in ideation sessions, and visually communicating design ideas to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in clay modeling for automotive or product design
• Experience with interpreting design sketches and CAD data
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, or a related field, Freshers only
• Knowledge of industry-standard tools and materials for clay modeling
• Strong sketching and visualization skills to communicate design intent effectively
• Familiarity with basic digital design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus
• Basic understanding of form, proportion, and surface development in 3D
• A portfolio showcasing both design sketches and clay modeling work
