Civil Trainer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Civil Trainer to deliver high-quality training in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, infrastructure design using Civil 3D, and 3D modeling with 3DS Max and SketchUp to students, professionals, and corporate teams. The ideal candidate will have strong practical expertise in MEP and Civil 3D workflows within the civil engineering and architecture domains and the ability to effectively train learners for real-world project applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Training Sessions:

• Plan, organize, and deliver instructor-led training for individuals and groups.
• Provide in-depth instruction on MEP design and coordination, Civil 3D workflows, and 3DS Max and SketchUp tools.
• Customize training programs according to participant experience levels, from beginner to advanced.
• Design and deliver hands-on exercises and real-time project-based learning.

2. Curriculum Development:

• Develop and update training materials, presentations, manuals, and video tutorials for MEP, Civil 3D, 3DS Max, and SketchUp.
• Create structured lesson plans, training schedules, and assessment methods.
• Ensure training content aligns with current industry practices and standards.

3. Hands-on Assistance and Support:

• Provide one-on-one mentoring and technical support to trainees.
• Assist with troubleshooting related to software usage, design coordination, and project workflows.
• Guide learners through practical exercises and live projects using MEP tools, Civil 3D, 3DS Max, and SketchUp.

4. Assessment and Progress Tracking:

• Assess trainee progress through assignments, quizzes, and practical evaluations.
• Deliver constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and performance.

5. Industry Best Practices:

• Stay updated with advancements, updates, and best practices in MEP systems, Civil 3D, and visualization tools.
• Integrate industry standards, codes, and real-world methodologies into training programs.
• Support organizations in implementing efficient MEP and infrastructure design workflows.

6. Collaboration and Networking:

• Work closely with internal trainers, subject-matter experts, and industry professionals.
• Build industry connections to introduce practical case studies and live project exposure.

Key Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Certifications in MEP, Civil 3D, or 3D modeling tools are an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in MEP design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D for infrastructure design, grading, corridors, and quantity take-offs.
• Advanced skills in 3DS Max for 3D modeling, visualization, and rendering.
• Strong working knowledge of SketchUp for conceptual design and modeling.
• Proven ability to train and mentor learners across different skill levels.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on industry experience in MEP design and Civil 3D-based infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience as a trainer, educator, or technical mentor is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Capability to explain complex engineering concepts in a clear and practical manner.
• Strong passion for teaching and mentoring.
• Good organizational and classroom management skills.
