Civil Surveyor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Surveyor for our ongoing Thermal Power Plant construction project. The Civil Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out precise land and structural surveys to ensure alignment with project drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct topographical, boundary, and layout surveys using Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and other equipment.
• Interpret civil engineering drawings and set out levels, alignments, and coordinates on-site as per design.
• Prepare and maintain detailed survey records, logs, and as-built drawings.
• Collaborate with site engineers, civil supervisors, and contractors to ensure accuracy in construction.
• Ensure proper survey control and benchmarks are established and maintained.
• Regularly monitor and verify structural alignment, elevation, and positions during construction activities.
• Assist in volume calculations (cutting/filling) and provide accurate reports to the planning and billing departments.
• Ensure survey equipment is calibrated, maintained, and stored correctly.
• Comply with all safety and quality procedures relevant to site operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Surveying.
• Proven experience in large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects, preferably in a thermal power plant.
• Proficiency in using Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and related survey software.
• Strong understanding of civil drawings, coordinates, elevations, and benchmarks.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
