Civil Supervisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and demonstrate expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires effective leadership skills to supervise teams on-site, ensuring that all work is performed according to specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software.
• Review blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of plans.
• Manage contracts and oversee budgeting processes for projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to OSHA standards.
• Utilize ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation management and collaboration among team members.
• Provide training and guidance to construction teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
• Perform construction estimating tasks to assess project costs accurately.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards of work.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles, including project scheduling, budgeting, and estimating.
• Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites.
• Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
• Familiarity with pipeline construction processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
