Civil Supervisor/ Foreman

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the progress of all construction activities, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, and implementing industry best practices and safety protocols. Your role will involve hiring and evaluating on-site workers, managing inventory, and ensuring equipment is in good condition. Additionally, you will interpret building plans, conduct site inspections, and handle any on-site accidents with care. Communication with the Construction Project Manager and attending on-site meetings will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all construction activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Implement industry best practices and safety protocols - Hire, evaluate, and manage on-site workers - Manage inventory and order building materials - Interpret building plans and blueprints - Conduct site inspections to identify safety hazards - Handle on-site accidents and perform first aid when necessary - Maintain accurate attendance records of construction workers - Review daily construction work and suggest improvement measures - Ensure emergency equipment is in place and in working order - Communicate progress reports to the Construction Project Manager - Attend on-site meetings and events Qualifications Required: - Proven work experience as a Supervisor in the construction industry - Basic knowledge of building supervision - Familiarity with construction tools and equipment - Knowledge of health and safety standards - Strong leadership qualities - Good analytical and communication skills - Ability to work long hours - Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints Note: The job requires 9 to 10 years of experience and is a full-time position.
