Civil Supervisor

As a Structure Supervisor for the Guyana Project, your primary responsibility will be to supervise and carry out all structural works on site, including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, foundations, piers, and decks in accordance with approved drawings and technical specifications. You will be tasked with monitoring daily construction activities to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and timelines. This will involve coordinating with the engineering and planning teams for drawings, work programs, and construction schedules, as well as managing subcontractors and workmen for structure-related civil activities. Your role will also involve conducting checks for shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, curing, and finishing works, as well as maintaining daily work progress reports and site logs. You will be expected to identify and resolve construction-related issues in collaboration with the site engineer and project manager, while ensuring adherence to safety norms, quality standards, and contractual requirements. Additionally, you will participate in inspections, audits, and quality checks conducted by clients/consultants or internal QA/QC teams. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) and have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in executing and supervising structural works in road/highway/bridge projects. Candidates with international project exposure or experience in major infrastructure projects such as NHAI, NHIDCL, or State Road Projects will be given preference. Key skills and competencies required for this role include in-depth knowledge of structural elements and construction methods, the ability to interpret structural drawings and specifications, strong team supervision and coordination skills, as well as a focus on quality and safety. In addition to the qualifications and experience mentioned, you should be willing to work on an international posting in Guyana, South America. You must also be medically fit for overseas assignments, have a passport ready, and be eligible for work visa processing.,
