Day-to-Day Roles & Responsibilities Structural Design Engineer

Breslau

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural Design:

• Perform detailed structural design of steel and RCC structures using STAAD Pro.
  
• Ensure designs meet project specifications and safety standards.
  

• Analysis & Calculations:

• Conduct structural analysis, load calculations, to ensure structural integrity & stability.
  
• Develop design parameters and validate structural safety.
  

• Industry Standards Compliance:

• Perform structural analysis and design in accordance with steel industry codes and standards.
  

• Integration of Designs:

• Integrate structural designs into steel plant layouts and other industrial projects.
  

• Engineering Documentation:

• Prepare spreadsheet-based load calculations.
  
• Generate detailed STAAD Pro models, reports, and drawings.
  

• Project Contribution:

• Support the design and development of industrial structures, RCC foundations, industrial buildings, and infrastructure facilities.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience:

  Minimum

  5 years of relevant work experience in the steel industry

  .

• Software Proficiency:

• STAAD Pro (modelling, load applications, and analysis).
  
• Manual and spreadsheet-based load calculations.
  

• Skills & Technical Knowledge:

• Proficient in both steel and RCC design methodologies.
• Proficiency in structural analytical design codes& industrial standard.
• Ability to analyze complex problems & develop creative solution.

As a Structural Design Engineer at Breslau, you will be responsible for modelling structures using design software. Your duties include:

1. Structural Design: Perform detailed structural design for steel and RCC structures.

2. Analysis and Calculations: Conduct structural analysis, load calculations, and stability checks for various projects.

3. Performing structural analysis and simulations to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.

4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate structural designs into broader project development.

5. Creating detailed engineering drawings, specs, and reports.

6. Evaluating materials and construction methods for optimized performance and cost-efficiency.

7. Contributing to the design and enhancement of industrial structures, buildings, and infrastructure projects.
