Job Description

Soil Testing:
Conduct the Grain Size Analysis (Hydrometer & Wash method), Proctor & California Bearing Ratio Specific Gravity and MDD and Field Density Test by using Sand replacement & Core cutter methods as per IS Standard.
Coarse Aggregates:
Conduct the Sieve Analysis, Flakiness & Elongation, Moisture content, Water Absorption, Unit Weight, Specific Gravity, Los Angeles Abrasion Value, Aggregate Crushing Value, Aggregate Impact Value & Ten Percent Fines Value.
Fine Aggregate:
Conduct the Sieve analysis, Silt test (Measuring Jar & 75micron), Moisture content, Specific gravity, Water absorption, Fineness modulus and Bulking of sand (Bulk density).
Cement test:
Conduct the Fineness test, Normal consistency test, initial and final setting time, specific gravity, and compressive strength test of cement.
Fly Ash:
Conduct the Fineness test, Compressive strength test.
Concrete:
Conduct the Slump Test, Trial Concrete Mix Design, Making Concrete Cylinder or Cube in the Field & Compressive Strength Test of Cylinder or Cube.
Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
Recording test results, analyzing data, and preparing reports for engineers and other relevant personnel.
Ensuring that construction materials meet specified standards and regulations.
Adhering to all lab safety procedures and environmental guidelines.
