Job Type:

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil Engineering (preferably with specialization in Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, or Hydraulic Engineering).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and plan water distribution systems, pipelines, pump stations, and storage tanks.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis using tools like WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or similar.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform site inspections and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including environmental engineers, contractors, and government agencies.
• Assist in the development of Capital Improvement Plans (CIP) and feasibility studies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national water regulations and standards.
• Review and approve shop drawings and material specifications.
• Participate in bid evaluations, project meetings, and stakeholder consultations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of water supply systems, hydraulics, and civil infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and project management software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Six Sigma / Lean / PMP Certification.
• State Water Treatment and Distribution Operator License.
• Membership in professional bodies like ASCE, CIWEM, or IEI.

Experience:

• 5+ years of exp, especially in water infrastructure projects
