Civil Engineer- Manager

As a dynamic and experienced Civil Engineer at the Manager level in the Workplace Management team at Airtel Center, your role will involve managing end-to-end project lifecycles for property acquisition to final office handover. You will drive design innovation, ensure compliance, and enable strategic workplace planning across Airtel offices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage civil and Workplace expansion/Rehaul projects for new and existing office spaces. - Develop, maintain, and track project timelines using Gantt charts and other planning tools. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including real estate, legal, IT, admin, and finance. **Design & Standards Development:** - Contribute to and refine workplace design guidelines for scalability, efficiency, and future-readiness. - Work closely with designers and consultants to translate business needs into innovative design solutions. - Utilize AutoCAD for layouts and drawings and support presentations with MS PowerPoint and Excel. **Technical Expertise & Compliance:** - Conduct technical evaluations of properties, including structural and seismic stability assessments. - Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and property legalities. - Coordinate with third-party consultants for property compliance documentation. **Vendor & Stakeholder Management:** - Benchmark practices across Workplace expansion projects. - Drive quality and cost-effectiveness in processes. - Engage internal stakeholders and external partners for project success. **Support to Circles & SME Role:** - Act as the SME for civil and Workplace expansion across Airtel offices. - Provide technical support and guidance to circle teams for adherence to central design standards. **Skills & Competencies:** - Strong knowledge of corporate interior fit-outs and large building maintenance. - Proficiency in project planning tools, AutoCAD, Excel, PowerPoint, and layout planning. - In-depth understanding of property compliance norms and stakeholder management. - Passion for space planning and workplace innovation with analytical abilities. **Educational Qualification:** - B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Masters degree preferred but not mandatory). **Preferred Industry Background:** - Project Management Consultancy (PMC) firms with exposure to corporate clients and large-scale fit-out projects.
