Civil Engineer

Job Description: As a Civil Engineer, you will apply your thorough knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices to prepare plans for highways and bridges under class supervision. Your ability to operate standard engineering instruments and perform computations for engineering operations will be crucial for success in this role. Additionally, you will utilize computer technology for engineering applications and prepare accurate engineering proposals, papers, plans, and technical correspondence. Key Responsibilities: - Apply civil engineering principles and practices to prepare plans for highways and bridges - Operate standard engineering instruments effectively - Perform computations for engineering operations - Utilize computer technology for engineering applications - Prepare accurate engineering proposals, papers, plans, and technical correspondence - Read and interpret civil engineering plans, maps, and specifications Qualifications Required: - Thorough knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices - Ability to operate standard engineering instruments - Proficiency in preparing plans for highways and bridges - Familiarity with reading and interpreting civil engineering plans, maps, and specifications - Strong computer technology skills for engineering applications - Effective written and oral communication skills Note: This is a full-time position offering benefits such as health insurance, life insurance, and paid time off.
