Civil Engineer Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in site supervision, ensuring work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Support senior engineers in measurement, estimation, and quantity take-offs for ongoing projects.
• Monitor material usage, inventory, and coordinate with vendors for timely supply.
• Prepare and update daily site reports, attendance logs, progress trackers, and checklists.
• Assist in verifying quality standards, workmanship, and adherence to structural and finishing details.
• Collaborate with design and project teams to understand technical drawings, BOQs, and construction methods.
• Participate in inspection rounds, documenting issues, proposing improvements, and coordinating resolutions.
• Learn and support in AutoCAD drafting, basic structural understanding, and site layout planning.
• Support in safety management, ensuring compliance with on-site safety protocols.
• Contribute to overall project coordination, documentation, and communication between site and office teams.

Required Qualifications

• Completed Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Basic understanding of civil construction techniques, materials, and structural fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or drafting tools is preferred (training can be provided).
• Strong observation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced project environment.
• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
