CIVIL ENGINEER ESTIMATION

As an Estimation Engineer, your role will involve preparing cost estimates based on drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and project specifications. You will be responsible for calculating material, labor, and equipment requirements, as well as preparing quotations, tender documents, and cost breakdowns. Additionally, you will need to coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors for technical details and assist in negotiations with clients/subcontractors. It will be your duty to track and update cost records against actual project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare cost estimates from drawings, BOQ, and project specifications - Calculate material, labor, and equipment requirements - Prepare quotations, tender documents, and cost breakdowns - Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors for technical details - Assist in negotiations with clients/subcontractors - Track and update cost records against actual project execution Qualifications Required: - B.Tech / B.E in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering - Minimum of 12 years of experience in estimation, costing, or tendering In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools is essential. You should also possess strong numerical and analytical abilities, along with good communication and negotiation skills.
