Estimation Engineer – Job Description
Qualification: B.Tech / B.E in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
Experience: 1–2 years in estimation, costing, or tendering
Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates from drawings, BOQ, and project specifications
Calculate material, labor, and equipment requirements
Prepare quotations, tender documents, and cost breakdowns
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors for technical details
Assist in negotiations with clients/subcontractors
Track and update cost records against actual project execution
Skills:
Strong numerical and analytical ability
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools
Good communication and negotiation skills
