Civil Engineer

Job Title: Civil Engineer (Foundation to LockKey + CAD Specialist)

Job Summary

Lead full-cycle infrastructure and building projectsfrom initial foundation work through final handover—while producing and reviewing detailed technical drawings via AutoCAD and Civil3D. Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain quality, and deliver turnkey solutions

Key Responsibilities

Foundation & Early Works

Conduct site investigations: drilling, soil sampling, subsoil analysis

Design foundations: footings, piles, caissons per soil/structural data

Oversee excavation, reinforcement, dewatering, concreting

Structural & Infrastructure Engineering

Prepare technical engineering drawings: foundations, roads, utilities, drainage, cross-sections

Use Civil3D or AutoCAD to model alignments, grading, profiles, corridors/pipe networks

Perform feasibility studies, cost estimation, risk analysis, and ensure permits/regulatory compliance

Manage construction execution: monitor schedules, budgets, and quality

Finishing, Testing & Handover (“Lock-Key”)

Supervise final finishes: utilities, road surfacing, landscaping

Coordinate load tests and quality assurance to confirm safety and compliance

Compile documentation: as-built drawings, technical reports, O&M manuals

Conduct handover: client walkthroughs, key control transfer, training and issuance of completion certificates

CAD & Drafting Expertise

Develop and revise detailed engineering drawings (2D/3D) using AutoCAD, Civil3D, or Revit

Maintain CAD standards: templates, drawings archives, updates, and version control

Collaborate with engineers, drafters, technicians, and design teams to ensure drawing accuracy

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s (or Diploma) in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

3–7 years experience in civil design/construction, ideally including foundations

Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and familiarity in Revit preferred

Knowledge of soil mechanics, structural systems, drainage, utilities, and regulatory compliance

Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills

Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or ability to obtain

Core Skills & Tools

CAD drawing (2D/3D), surface modeling, profiles, grading, utility layouts

Cost estimation, technical report writing, QA/QC checks

Familiarity with building codes, earthwork, load testing, safety standards

Proficient with Microsoft Office (esp. Excel) and CAD documentation workflows
