Civil Design Engineer

As a Civil Design Lead for ETP and ZLD projects, your role will primarily involve the following key responsibilities: - Leading the civil design review, detailing, and construction management. - Preparing and checking civil drawings including GADs, RCC detailing, and layout plans. - Conducting site surveys, soil investigations, and assisting in finalizing foundation designs for various structures. - Coordinating with process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams for integrated project execution. - Reviewing contractor drawings, method statements, and approving material submissions related to civil works. - Monitoring site execution for civil works such as excavation, shuttering, RCC, waterproofing, and underground piping. - Preparing and managing project schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource planning for civil activities. - Ensuring compliance with IS Codes, BIS standards, and client quality standards. - Maintaining strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols at all times. - Managing civil vendors, contractors, and subcontractors effectively. - Handling civil billing verification, BOQ preparation, and quantity estimation. - Preparing project reports, status updates, and escalating issues timely to management. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience in civil design, detailing, and construction management for ETP and ZLD projects. - Proficiency in preparing civil drawings and ensuring compliance with project specifications. - Knowledge of conducting site surveys, soil investigations, and finalizing foundation designs. - Strong coordination skills with various teams for integrated project execution. - Familiarity with IS Codes, BIS standards, and client quality standards. - Ability to manage civil vendors, contractors, and subcontractors effectively. - Experience in handling civil billing verification, BOQ preparation, and quantity estimation.
