Civil Design Engineer

As a Civil 3D Design Engineer at our Pune location, you will be responsible for planning and executing desktop assessments for land grading and leveling activities using Autodesk Civil 3D and MS Excel software. Your primary focus will be on achieving desired site contours and slopes for various infrastructure projects, including stormwater drainage systems and roads. Additionally, you will design land grading and earthwork plans, analyze cut and fill volumes, and optimize land development based on finished ground levels. In this role, you will be tasked with developing plans for infrastructure systems such as roads, utilities, stormwater management, and landscaping for large solar projects in India and overseas. Your responsibilities will also include preparing detailed engineering plans, drawings, and reports according to Indian and American codes and standards. You will review technical documents for quality and compliance with project requirements and perform effective drainage designs to manage water runoff and prevent erosion. As part of your daily tasks, you will generate construction documents, including plan and profile sheets, details, and specifications, while adhering to company standards and project requirements. Moreover, you will be expected to prepare cost estimates, bills of materials, and material specifications. Collaboration with team leads, project managers, and other team members will be essential to meet project requirements and deadlines. To qualify for this position, you should hold a BTech in Civil or MTech in Water Resources/Transportation Engineering, along with 1 to 4 years of experience in Civil Engineering design. Experience in levelling grading, stormwater drainage design, and road design will be advantageous. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Excel software is a must, along with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. Knowledge of international codes will be considered a plus. Your adaptability to changing project requirements, teamwork skills, and continuous improvement of technical skills will be crucial for this role.
